At Cacao Hunters we have accepted the challenge of finding, preserving and promoting the production of regional cocoa varieties, true treasures of nature and our country.
Our cocoa hunters continually visit remote areas of Colombia in search of native cocoa trees. After careful evaluation, the varieties are preserved in genetic collections.
Each variety is subjected to extensive fermentation and drying tests to determine the ideal post-harvest conditions to develop unique flavors and aromas for each origin.
