Oryx Desert Salt is sourced from the remote, pristine and beautiful Kalahari Desert of Southern Africa.
The area is uninhabitable and the closest town is situated 175miles/250km. This area of 9,000,000 hectares (1,5x Texas) is free from pollution and contamination. Beneath a 5000 hectare salt pan, lies a 55 million ton underground salt lake. Renewed and sustained by three subterranean streams, that flow through ancient rock strata of 280million years.

The streams collect the essential minerals & trace elements from the ancient rock strata together with the sodium chloride and converges in the lake. The 120% saturated brine / salt water gets drawn up onto the salt pan, where under the hot African sun of 120degF, with the desert wind in a 4 week lunar cycle it crystallizes into pure white crystals. Nothing is added, nothing is taken away.
Oryx Desert Salt is free from any chemicals, ant-free flow or anti-caking agents, neither does it have any micro-bead particles or any other human contamination.
